Razzo is located on Ocean View ave in Norfolk. It’s on the east end in a fancy, softly lit corner lot.
It’s Italian with a pleasant waitstaff. The tables aren’t very decorated, but the food is excellent. The place filled up more as the evening went on and seemed to be a popular place for small groups to come hang out.
Nick: I had a vegetable lasagna and it was very filling. It was a decent sized portion, and I was quite satisfied. Would definitely order it again.
Revonna: At Razzo’s I fully enjoyed the antipasto appetizer platter with the roasted garlic, olives, roasted peppers, artichokes, and goat cheese. I could have easily had that as the main dish. I found the restaurant cozy and it seemed like a possible locals type of hangout. I would love to get the platter hang out and drink wine in this place.

I worked for Butch when he owned Zia Maries on Lookout Rd. Great guy. Still trying to get him to meet me at the gun range for a little R&R! Try the zucchini app with almonds. Delish!
Love Razzo! Definitely a casually upscale locals spot. Great atmosphere to just chill for the evening with friends …slow and leisurely like.. with a good bottle of wine, and maybe the Roasted Garlic Antipasto Platter, Fried Calamari, or Grilled BBQ Shrimp Platter as a starter. In fact, the appetizer portions are large enough in some cases to serve as a meal. For Girls Nite Out our group will usually order 2 or 3 and share. Other items tried and approved: Roasted Beet Salad in Vinagrette, Lemon Chicken, Stuffed Eggplant w/Spinach, Artichoke & Cheese, Linguine w/Red Clam Sauce, and Grilled Tuna w/Asparagus in a citrus Marinade. The staff and owner, Butch, are always friendly and accomodating..and quick to point out features and specials. Haven’t yet been able to save room for dessert. Maybe next time we’ll start with dessert …life is short.
I had the worst experience at this restaurant that I’ve ever had at any restaurant in my life. I truly believe that the owner (Butch) has a mental illness or is smoking some really awful crack.
He threw me and two soccer moms out of the restaurant at 11:03 pm….claiming that his abc license expired at 11:00. He took our half full bottle of wine and three wine glasses off our table and did not reimburse us or offer to cork the wine. He claimed that he called the cops. The only mistake that we made was not calling the cops ourselves on this crazy man.
He even followed us out to our car!!!
